Insulated Panels

Euroclad Insulated Wall Panels

euroclad_composite2_sm Euroclad insulated panels offer many significant advantages over other wall cladding solutions. Speed of construction is a tangible benefit for installers and other stakeholders as the overall build time can be reduced compared to other products. The panels are easy to fix by existing Euroclad recommended installers as the products feature simple 'tongue and groove' joints. Panels are easy to handle and feature slender construction depths due to the lightweight foam insulation which is sandwiched between typically 0.5mm gauge steel. There is a wide choice of colours and finishes available in the Euroclad Integra and Fusion panel ranges, resulting in a range of products suitable for industrial applications right through to demanding architectural projects.

Insulated panel features

Euroclad Insulated Wall Panel Insulated panels from Euroclad are ideally suited to fast-track constructions where quality and aesthetics are important. Euroclad can advise on any specific application by drawing on its experience and vast range of roof and wall products. Typical applications for composite panels include retail outlets, light industrial units and commercial developments like business parks. Panels are supplied as standard in a painted PVDF coating with a wide range of colours and colour matching capability. Standard products and colours are delivered in 3 weeks; specialist colours in 8 to 12 weeks. The standard panel thickness is 80mm but can be supplied from 60mm up to 140mm. Panels can be supplied up to 20m in length and can be finished with curved and folded (mitred) corners. All products are accredited to at least LPCB EXT-B and FM Approvals.

External Finish

Euroclad Insulated Panel With a choice of flat, three subtle profiles or the fashionable sinusoidal profile there is a finish for any application or taste. Euroclad Integra is the product of choice for high end applications where a flat finish and non-standard panel widths are required. Euroclad Fusion provides the restrained Micro Rib, V Rib and Box Rib profiles whilst Euroclad Fusion Sinusoidal is the panel with attitude. Products in the Euroclad range of insulated panels provide a weather proof envelope in the blink of an eye. The simplicity of the construction enables quick installation of an outer skin that forms an impenetrable barrier to the elements. Euroclad insulated panels are EPAQ certified with independent quality control, CE certification and are manufactured to ISO 9001 quality management standards. They can offer a complete building envelope guarantee of up to more than 30 years.

Acoustic Benefits

During the last five years Euroclad has invested in acoustic testing of systems and has applied many years of combined practical experience from constructed projects into the test programme. Working together with material suppliers and with institutions such as Sound Research Laboratories Ltd, University of Salford Department of Applied Acoustics and British Board of Agrement has provided some of the best acoustic systems available for lightweight metal constructions. Common applications for the systems are education establishments, swimming pVools, sports halls, leisure centres, retail outlets, cinemas, offices, hospitals and accommodation. In industrial and Ministry of Defence projects, prevention of intrusive noise and the control of noise from processes are major considerations and the acoustic performance of Euroclad systems has assisted in many instances. It is not enough for systems to achieve acoustic requirements in isolation; systems must meet all of the other performance elements required of them. When specific acoustic performance is required, Euroclad can provide a bespoke solution for roof and walls.

Regulation Compliance

Euroclad Insulated Wall Panel The fire performance of any building system is paramount to the safety of the building occupants and the prevention of fire spread. It is becoming an increasingly important consideration for building designers. Revisions to Part B of the Building Regulations have meant that, for the first time, designers are being asked to complete a fire risk assessment as the first stage of any design process - underlining a new fire prevention approach that asks designers to identify fire risks at an early stage, and try to remove them. Key to any low fire risk solution is a building design that limits fire spread. When it comes to selecting exterior cladding systems specifiers can look to the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) and FM Global for accreditation recognised by the insurance industry. Insulated panels from Euroclad have been tested and approved to LPCB and FM Approvals for confidence and peace of mind.

For high level fire resistance, systems with non-combustible cores, such as stone wool insulation, would always be recommended.
