Vieo draws its inspiration from traditional roofing and features a flat pan with up-stands either side.  These up-stands sit over one another and are mechanically folded to become watertight.  The colours available mimic materials like zinc, copper and lead which make Vieo systems an engineered, factory manufactured alternative to traditional metal roofing.

Capability

Due to manufacturing efficiencies and the relative simplicity of installation the Vieo roofing system is very cost-effective.  The continuous manufacture of sheets results in economies of scale and the simple installation process means less time onsite.  When considering the lifetime cost of the building the energy performance remains consistent for the life of the building and the material durability provides peace of mind.  At the end of life components can be disassembled easily and the steel and stone wool insulation recycled, generating around £1m² depending on steel prices at the time.
