Elite System 3 - Metal Liner Over Purlins

Euroclad Secret Fix SystemUsing a 0.7mm liner, tested to "Class B" non-fragility, using the Secret Fix system over liners is a remarkably quick and efficient roof construction. By lining out the roof, sealing the laps to form a vapour check, the building has a water tight (and air tight) membrane over the roof early on in the building program. The outer sheet is also then very quick and easy to install, as the lack of any end laps, the lack of the need for a separate clip or halter and the easy under-lap seal and fixing design allows each sheet to be very quickly and accurately installed. Note that if rooflights are included, you must take precautions regarding the potential creep in the liner sheet matching the cover width of the outer profile. Failure to take account of this at an early stage can lead to misalignment between outer sheet and liner sheet rooflights. Please refer to the technical manual for specific recommendations.

Elite System 6 - Structural Decking Solution

Eurclad Secret Fix on a structural deckAgain, a quick and easy solution - this option often offers a very cost effective alternative to aluminum standing seam roofs which require some "value engineering". The excellent guarantees available for coated steel products mean that there is little perceivable difference on paper to the performance of some standing seam systems compared with the SF500 secret fix. Bear in mind when designing that Structural Decking systems require an even distribution of loads across every decking profile to prevent 'line loading' - hence the need for tophats within the construction. Please refer to out Elite System 6 details for further information.

Elite System 3A & 6A - Sound Absorption

Euroclad Secret Fix System - Acoustic RoofThe use of a perforated liner and acoustic insulation with the secret fix product offers a very effective sound absorption system where the acoustic quality of the internal environment is important. Due to the slight additional weight of the overall system, a slightly better average sound reduction (SRi) will also be obtained compared with the lighter weight standing seam.

Elite System 10 - Timber Frame - Cold Roof System

Euroclad Secret Fix System - Cold RoofBy applying a breather membrane to a sarking board or similar decking surface, secret fix offers an excellent solution to a cold roof system. Note that the side lap of the sheet is fully sealed, therefore it would be normal to create passive ventilation under the sheet by use of ventilated eaves and ridge fillers.

Elite System 11 - Timber Frame - Warm Roof

Euroclad Elite System 11Installing a Eurobar Extra spacer bar system over a sarking or similar decking board offers a convenient way of achieving a warm roof construction over a timber frame. A separate vapour control layer should be used, however most other aspects of the construction are identical to a steel frame construction.
