Elite System 1 - Metal liner over purlins

Euroclad offers two basic trapezoidal systems over purlin construction. The first is an economic solution using a 0.4mm gauge liner profile, Eurobar spacer system, insulation quilt and outer profile. The 0.4mm gauge liner profile (normally 19/1000 profile) offers a "Class C" non-fragility rating - this means that generally the safety netting should remain in place until the top sheet (outer profile) is fully installed - as the outer profile is tested to "Class B" non-fragility. The combination of products offers a very cost effective solution, and is likely to be cheaper than almost any other type of roof system available.

Elite System 2 - Metal Liner over Purlins  - Robust Solution

Euroclad also offers a more robust solution to a purlin construction, using a more robust 0.7mm gauge liner and Eurobar Extra spacer system. By using the more robust 0.7mm gauge liner profile which achieves a "Class B" non-fragility, there is often the possibility of removing the safety netting once the liner is fully installed (confirmation from the safety officer would be required). This means that on large schemes, work can commence inside the building once the liner is installed, speeding up the overall program and making this option one of the quickest building methods available.

Elite System 2 -25A - Acoustic Solution

The vigorous Elite System 2 can also be modified to provide an acoustic solution.  By perforating the liner profile and laying acoustic slab into the pan of the liner the sound reduction and sound absorption of the system can be improved.  A vapour control layer is the only other additional component required to achieve an acoustic solution using System 2.  This solution can be very useful in sound sensitive buildings like schools; a drama or music room needs good sound absorption to avoid noise pollution of other areas requiring low levels of sound to aid concentration, like a library or examination hall.

Single Skin Application

Single skin use of metal roof sheets are suitable for various application small or large, due to the exposure to both gravitational and suctional wind loads on one sheets - we strongly suggest you consult our technical department for suitablity of chosen profile for your project use.

Anti Condensation Coating

Is a cost effective long term solution to preventing and avoiding dripping roof condensation on single skin cladding applications. All single skin steel or aluminium roofs including insulated systems with a ventilated airspace have the capacity to condense and drip on some materials condensation produces the ideal conditions for mould growth, to prevent this Grafo-therm incorporates a highly efficient Fungicide. Avaiable on our Trapezoidal and Sinusoidal roof profiles.
