Eurobar Extra System

Eurobar Extra MastThe Euroclad Extra Mast has been developed to provide a better and more practical support to the Eurobar Extra used in twin skin cladding systems.

This 135mm mast proved so strong and versatile we decided to base all twin skin depths exceeding 200mm to be based upon a telescopic version which currently allows us heights up to 280mm with no anti-sway or stiffening brackets of any description.

Whilst the height is infinitely adjustable, (subject to minimum order quantity and extended delivery), we have elected to stock sizes shown to be the most efficient by our thermal modeling. These will be 220mm, 240mm, 260mm and 280mm.

Eurobar and Eurobar Extra are the most advanced and best engineered spacer systems currently available, if you have not already tried or seen them request a sample by telephoning 02920 790722.

red Eurobar Extra bars are available in the following lengths: 1.2 metres, 2.4 metres & 3.6 metres.

red Eurobar Extra brackets are available in 135mm, 180mm and 200mm depths.

Eurobar Extra at DartfordSince the implementation of Building Regulations Part L2:2001 ‘Conservation of Fuel and Power’ the spacer is even more critical to the thermal efficiency and stability of the system. With the requirements to make buildings more thermally efficient, so the insulation depths increase to meet the U-values. Fundamental to any twin-skin metal roofing system is the spacer used to separate the outer weathering skin from the internal liner sheet. This stops the low-density insulation from being over-compressed.

Eurobar Spacer System

The Eurobar is not only strong and easy to install, it is durable and simple to repair. It is easy for self-drilling fasteners to fix into and offers good fastener grip. Eurobar SystemThe bracket location guide is printed every metre along the bar and the spigot/socket locks firmly into place for extra strength in vertical applications.

THERMALLY EFFICIENT

Twin skin systems incorporating Eurobar offer the designer or installer an ideal solution to Part L/Technical Standard J thermal requirements. Very low U values are possible using the right combination of materials and design.
