Sealants

The broad range of systems offered by Euroclad allows for an equally broad range of sealants, all of which will offer excellent performance relative to their function.  Euroclad ensure that the grade of sealant will perform in line with Elite system and be suitable for a minimum period of 25 years. Our range of tapes cover moisture, air sealing, compression and fire.

Moisture Vapour Tape - Liner Side Lap

A high performance strip sealant laminated to a clear tear resistant film for use as a dual-purpose air seal and moisture barrier tape.  This product creates a moisture vapour seal along the side lap joints of metal liner panels in the construction of buildings. Not recommended for use on end laps.
Produced as a strip 1mm thick by 50mm wide, supplied on a roll of 35m.

4mm Bead Class A Butyl Sealant - Liner End Lap

A high performance pressure sensitive butyl sealant manufactured from the latest rubber polymer, available in grey as standard (white available upon request).  Primarily used for end laps in metal and fibre cement roofing and cladding systems.
Produced in a 4mm bead as standard.  Roll lengths are 12m as standard.

6mm x 5mm Class A Butyl Sealant - Trapezoidal External End & Side Lap

A high performance pressure sensitive butyl sealant manufactured from the latest rubber polymer, available in grey as standard (white available upon request). Used for end and side laps in metal and fibre cement roofing and cladding systems
Produced in a 6mm x 5mm rectangle as standard.  Roll lengths are 9.6m as standard.

3mm Bead Class A Butyl Sealant - SF500 Side Lap

A high performance pressure sensitive butyl sealant manufactured from the latest rubber polymer, available in grey as standard (white available upon request).  Used for side laps only.
Produced in a 3mm bead as standard.  Roll lengths are 16m as standard.

Gun Grade Sealants

Gun applied silicone and butyl based sealants are also available for sealing laps and junctions and pointing joints.

White and clear low modulus silicone is available in 310ml cartridges and the grey butyl sealant is available in a 400ml cartridge.
In addition to the standard silicone sealants, Euroclad offer Nullifire M703 silicone which can be used to offer symmetric fire performance in built up wall systems. The M703 replaces the end and side lap sealant to create an effective air seal whist maintaining acoustic performance of the substrate.
