Sustainable construction

Sustainable construction is a major consideration for all building owners and developers.  Sustainability is one of the core principles of Euroclad Elite Systems and is not just a case of Euroclad jumping on the 'green wash' bandwagon.  Euroclad constructions consist of mineral wool insulation plus steel or aluminium roof and wall cladding.  All profiled sheeting and insulation can be reused or recycled and the site-assembled nature of the products means that they are transported much more efficiently.  This also means that they are easy to disassemble and transport at the end of their useful life.

Elite Systems are perfectly suited to refurbishment applications where a building is over-clad to provide an attractive new aesthetic and improve the functionality of a building.  What better way to reduce the impact on our environment and make the best use of existing resources than to renovate an existing structure, rather than go to the trouble of demolishing a building and then starting from scratch.

Euroclad Elite Systems offer the award winning Corus Confidex Sustain®, the world's first cradle to cradle CarbonNeutral building envelope, when using Corus Colorcoat Prisma® or Corus Colorcoat HPS200 Ultra®.  Corus Confidex Sustain® is about more than just carbon offsetting; the aim is to encourage specification of the most sustainable pre-finished steel products and cladding systems.  As part of the Confidex Sustain® scheme Environmental Product Declarations have been produced showing the total carbon impact of Euroclad Elite Systems.
